Abstract Paintings
My newest art project consists of abstract acrylic paintings, primarily 24” by 24” in size. Painting is such an immediate  satisfaction compared to the intensely time-consuming effort that goes into woven creations.  Weaving is creative, but very technical with a great deal of preplanning the design, while abstract painting is more emotional and free flowing. Using both the left and right side of my brain, moving between the thinking side, as well as the emotional part feels right to me.
